Once you’ve completed your bachelor’s degree, you’ll be well on your way to obtaining a job in the field of earth and environmental sciences. Take your skills and knowledge of geospatial science even deeper with a master’s in geoinformatics. You’ll broaden your understanding of geographic information science (GIS), remote sensing and GPS technology. You’ll apply geospatial technology to solve important environmental and societal problems. And you’ll learn to better communicate as a scholar. With laboratory, research and internship opportunities, you’ll excel in the fast-growing field of earth and environmental sciences.

There are plenty of ways to get involved with the department of earth and environmental sciences, ranging from the U.S. Geological Survey and local/regional partner organizations to GeoClub and Murray State's chapters of the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG) and the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS). And that's only the beginning.
