Earth and Environmental Sciences - Archaeology Track

The archaeology program at Murray State focuses on the study of human cultural through the analysis of material remains. An emphasis is placed on the diversity of human cultures, theoretical approaches to the study of culture, the relationship between humans and the natural environment and the methods that archaeologists use to reconstruct the past to better understand our cultural heritage.

Join GeoClub and take part in extracurricular activities that improve your archaeology knowledge. On top of that, you could also get the chance to intern at the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, the Daniel Boone National Forest, the National Park Services or the Smithsonian Institution.
